Swathi K Ramakrishna is a skilled R&D Senior SW Engineer with over 7 years of experience in the field of SDN & NFV, virtualization, network Test Automation using Python & L2/L3 protocol testing. Currently working at Broadcom, Swathi has previously worked at Cisco and Radisys in various engineering roles. At Radisys, Swathi worked on the vFE product as a Senior Software Engineer and was responsible for automating the installation of vFE application on platforms as x86, docker container, and vagrant using Python. She created a system test plan that targeted the end-to-end deployment scenarios and manually tested and automated system-level test cases. She also raised design and system-level defects across the platforms and ran short duration soak tests on a nightly basis during the sprints. Swathi also worked on the Traffic Distribution Engine - Flow Engine 3.0 release at Radisys, where she tested TDE2K as an SDN-switch for Openflow protocol conformance [1.3.4]. She formulated test procedures for the one-liners written for different use cases and automated the test cases using Python robot framework. She executed tests and raised defects in JIRA for the anomalies found and stabilized test scripts according to the test environment and product requirements. Swathi obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in ECE from Vishveshwaraiah Technological University in 2013. She also attended MLA Academy of Higher Learning. Swathi is proficient in various technologies such as test, Python, SDET, qa, Software Engineer, and Docker.
